I've been wanting to restyle our bookcases for a while, but just can't seem to get them the way I'd like to. We had them painted to match our kitchen cabinets. I had some extra fabric from our curtains and put that on the back of the shelves:
While it's not bad, I'm thinking of painting, and possible stenciling the back:
